Every Purchase Makes a Difference

When you shop with THEAN EE, you become part of a wider effort to support farming communities.

We have committed to allocating 10% of our company's annual net profit for proportional distribution among eligible farmers who supply our products, in accordance with our farmer-benefit policy.

Your purchase helps us build a marketplace where the well-being of customers and farmers goes hand in hand.

BENEFIT TO THE FARMERS

Growing Together. Sharing Value. Building a Better Future.

Farmers are the foundation of our business. We believe that those who cultivate our food deserve fair prices, respect, and a meaningful share in the value they help create.

Direct Sourcing & Fair Prices

We aim to purchase directly from farmers, reducing dependence on intermediaries wherever possible.

Our commitment is to offer farmers a fair purchase price based on prevailing market rates and, wherever feasible, a price above the prevailing rate.

When direct sourcing is not possible due to supply constraints, we may procure ingredients through other reliable channels.

7-Day Higher Price Protection

To help protect farmers from short-term price fluctuations, we have introduced a seven-day higher-price matching commitment, subject to our purchase terms.

For example:

Day 1 – Purchase price - ₹100/kg

Market price rises within 7 days - ₹105/kg

Additional amount payable - ₹5/kg

The additional ₹5 per kg would be paid to the farmer for the eligible quantity purchased, subject to the applicable terms and verification of the market price.

This approach is designed to give farmers greater confidence that they will receive a fair return for their produce.

Sharing 10% of Our Annual Net Profit

We believe that when the business grows, the farming community that supports it should grow with us.

THEAN EE has committed to distributing 10% of its annual net profit proportionally among eligible farmers from whom we source our products, according to our farmer-benefit policy.

An Illustrative Example

If the company's annual net profit is:

Annual net profit ₹10 lakh

Farmer-benefit allocation (10%) - ₹1 lakh

Annual net profit in a future year ₹10 crore

Farmer-benefit allocation (10%) - ₹1 crore

Illustrative figures only, not a forecast or guarantee of future profits or distributions.

The allocation will be distributed proportionally among eligible farmers based on our defined sourcing and distribution criteria.

We also aspire to understand farmers' needs and explore ways to support their long-term well-being.

Our vision is a marketplace where farmers are not merely suppliers, but valued partners in shared growth.

If more businesses adopt fair sourcing, responsible profit-sharing, and community-focused practices, we believe together we can contribute to meaningful improvements in farmers' lives.

What if we could bring farmers and consumers closer together, provide families with thoughtfully made food, and create a fairer marketplace for farmers?

This question inspired the birth of THEAN EE – The Honey Bee, a farmer-market initiative built around the idea of mutual benefit.

Just as honey bees travel from flower to flower, gathering nectar and contributing to the ecosystem, we envision a marketplace where farmers, consumers, and communities grow together.

Inspired by the philosophy of J. C. Kumarappa's "Economy of Permanence," we believe that a business should do more than generate profit. It should create lasting value for people, communities, and nature.

At THEAN EE, we bring together farmers, carefully selected ingredients, and thoughtful food processing to offer families food products inspired by nature and traditional wisdom.

Inspired by the Honey Bee. Built for a Healthier Society.
